Rob Young

Lead Reward Consultant

Rob is a corporate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, having graduated from Oxford University with Honours in Chemistry and Aston University with a Master’s in Business Administration.

He has over 30 years’ experience in HR, 15 years of which have been in Reward Management.

Projects have included:

  • Pay benchmarking for EMEA technology business and development of merit matrices

  • Harmonisation of reward and benefits following acquisition for an internet service provider and development of reward statements

  • Implementation of new pay and grading structure for public sector client formed from three predecessor organisations

  • Base pay and total cash benchmarking exercise for the retail and business banking divisions of a high street bank

  • Head office and global senior management pay, bonus and share awards review for international insurance business

  • Advice on pay design and assimilation to new structures as part of pay modernisation in a large national public sector organisation

  • International (EMEA and Asia Pacific regions) pay and bonus review for a credit ratings agency
