Executive Coaching

S is the global head of a specialist banking division based in the Netherlands. He elected to engage an executive coach to help him through a period of intense change. As the coaching relationship grew, he began to really value the ‘time out to think things through’ as opposed to feeling that he had to achieve something within each session. “Something always seems to have happened that I need to talk about” Some of the areas they focused on included the ambiguous situation he found himself in and the different cultural norms operating within the bank. Coaching helped him to make sense of his situation and keep focussed on what he could influence despite the uncertainty of his situation.
